Mélanie Staes, tax adviser, is a member of the Tax Practice Group in our Luxembourg office and of the Canadian region team of Loyens & Loeff. She focuses on international tax law and was previously seconded to the New York office for two years.

About Mélanie Staes

Mélanie focuses in particular on the North-American region and specialises in international tax law in terms of group restructurings, mergers and acquisitions and investment funds. She advises multinational clients, pension funds, private equity firms, as well as other corporates and investment managers on all aspects of Luxembourg tax law.

Mélanie regularly publishes in legal literature, including in the Corporate Tax Practice Series: Strategies for Corporate Acquisitions, Dispositions, Spin-Offs, Joint Ventures, Reorganizations & Restructurings published by the Practicing Law Institute.
